Integrating technology into the content design and teaching is one of the major topics I deal with. The point of view that I deal with in integrating technology into content design and teaching is that the technology should be a supplement to teaching, not a replacement for the teaching. Technology is something I purposely use to create engaging, accessible, and personalized learning experiences. This starts with being mindful of the tools and platforms that are in line with the learning targets that accommodate various learning styles. To achieve this goal, I use technology for personalized learning activities such as Interactive whiteboard or padlet and I guide students to set up their google slides to create their own presentations or worked on common presentations. The development of new skills is the main focus of the learner centered design in which technology is employed to encourage activities of active learning, collaboration among students, and critical thinking. I utilize my expertise as an instructional designer and teacher trainer to cultivate my style of technological integration in teaching and guiding other educators to do the same. I am deeply committed to embracing new technologies and pedagogical best practices, as I continuously assess and improve my technology integration efforts to scale up the learning outcomes. I mainly rely on different learning management systems, creating interactive online modules, and multimedia resources to cater to and immerse the learner in engaging learning experiences to create 21sy century learners for success in technology-driven world. Moreover, I see the value in the usage of technology that connects us all to the same core content as well as I work toward provide opportunities to increase the digital divide.
